a few gelatin-silver images

Here are a few images from a series of photographs in which I used existing objects in a given landscape to monumentalize the fact that these objects are here to stay. I turned each object into a sculpture that could only be distinguishable through the ground glass of my Rolleiflex TLR. All images are photographs of the actual gelatin-silver print.

photo montage/creation

The goal of this montage was to take a standard headshot, cut it apart, put it back together, then distort and re-make the face with a slight influence from Picasso's paintings, except made photographically.
